Breakfasts & BBQs
Join us in the ELW lobby or courtyard for pancakes, burgers, ice cream and more. We do our very best to have alternatives for those with dietary restrictions, if we missed something, please let us know! These are usually pretty spontaneous, so keep an eye on your facebook feed. Free for engineering students!
EEE: Engineering Evening Excursion
Our semesterly pubcrawl! Grab some friends and come have a great time on a tour through some of Victoria's best spots. Admission includes cover at each location, busses in between, and a EEE t-shirt! If you're lucky you might even score some drink tickets. Tickets usually cost $20 and can be bought in the ESS Office. This is a 19+ event.
Engineering Formal
An opportunity to get your class on and be fancy for a night. We've made a habit of hosting this at Peacock Billiards, but we're open to suggestions on other places to explore. We'll have a photographer on hand to take photos, so be sure to dress up real nice!
Iron Ring Ceremony
The Iron Ring is given to all engineering graduates in Canada as part of The Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer. The ring is a reminder to graduates of their ethical obligations as practicing engineers. The ESS partners with Camp 23 to run Iron Ring Ceremonies twice annually, once in March, and again in November.
